How to Reach Praia da Fonte da Telha

Praia da Fonte da Telha is conveniently located 30 minutes from Lisbon city center and Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS). Situated at the southern end of the Costa da Caparica coastline, it offers a sheltered natural sanctuary with consistent Atlantic swell.

By Car: Take the 25 de Abril Bridge from Lisbon south on the A2, take the A33 motorway exit toward Fonte da Telha/Charneca da Caparica, and descend the main road straight onto the beach. Large parking areas are available adjacent to our base at Kailua Fonte da Telha.

By Public Transport: Regular buses (Carris Metropolitana) run from Lisbon and Cacilhas ferry terminal directly to Fonte da Telha during all seasons.

GPS Coordinates: 38.5656° N, 9.1931° W

Booking Guidance & Response Times

Our surf instructors evaluate daily wind, swell period, and tidal swings to pick the optimum window for your coaching session. To ensure wave safety and the highest lesson quality:

  • Surf Lessons: We recommend contacting us at least 24 hours in advance so we can align your session with favorable tides.
  • Surf Retreats: Retreats have limited cohort sizes (maximum 8–10 surfers) to preserve intimacy and high coaching quality. Advance inquiry via our website is required.
  • Echo Kids Camps: Summer camp enrollments open in spring with weekly cohorts throughout July and August.

For instant queries regarding today's wave conditions or same-day lesson availability, please send a WhatsApp message to +351 934 668 583.
